Once payment is confirmed, we will verify availability and manage the necessary permits for your trip.

Initial Deposit: To guarantee your reservation for a tour or package with peru Adventure Trek, a non-refundable initial deposit is required. The amount of this deposit varies depending on the selected itinerary.
Payment can be made via PayPal or credit/debit card. Please note that a 5% service fee will be applied to card payments, and an 8% fee will be applied to PayPal transactions.

Reservation Confirmation: Your reservation will be considered confirmed and binding once peru Adventure Trek has received all your information and verified your deposit. At that moment, a legally binding contractual agreement will be established between both parties, marking the official beginning of your next adventure.
Shared Responsibility: All individuals included in the reservation are jointly responsible for the agreement with peru Adventure Trek. The person signing the contract represents each individual listed in the reservation, meaning all parties are informed and agree to our Terms and Conditions.

The initial deposit amount depends on the selected itinerary. Whether you prefer a multi-day trek, an alternative route, a short hike, or a traditional tour, you will find below the minimum deposit amount based on the total price range of the selected package per person:

Important: No traveler may begin the tour without fully settling the payment.
Final Payment: You must pay the remaining balance 48 hours before the tour starts using one of the following methods: Cash, PayPal (an 8% fee applies), Debit/Credit Card (a 5% fee applies).
Cash Payments: If you prefer to pay in cash, please make sure to complete the payment at least 48 hours before the tour begins.
We accept: US Dollars and Peruvian Soles.
Note: We refuse to accept torn, damaged, or defaced bills, no matter how minor the damage.
Bank Fees: All bank fees or transaction charges associated with your payment will be the responsibility of the customer.
Initial Deposit: The initial deposit is 100% non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. This includes situations such as medical emergencies, as we do not accept medical notes or documentation as justification for refunds.
The deposit is immediately used to secure permits, entrance tickets, campsite reservations, hotels, trains, and to hire service providers. These expenses are non-refundable for us; therefore, unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions to this policy.
If you wish to change your tour date, you will be penalized at least US $200.00 per person. The amount may vary depending on the tour or package you booked.
The cost is used to purchase new tickets, as the original tickets are lost and are non-refundable and non-transferable.
If you have requested additional tickets such as Huayna Picchu, Huchuy Picchu, Montaña Machu Picchu, or any upgrades, an additional penalty will apply separately from the date change fee.
Important: Tickets for Machu Picchu and other destinations are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
All cancellation requests must be formally submitted directly to your sales advisor via email. The person who made the reservation and initial deposit must make the request.
Confirmed reservations with peru Adventure Trek are non-refundable if canceled for personal reasons, including conflicts or situations arising from personal relationships.
Cancellation Fees per Traveler:
6 weeks (42 days) notice: 60% of the total cost
2 weeks (14 days) notice: 80% of the total cost
Within 7 days before the trip: 100% of the total cost
If you decide to end the trek after it has begun or cannot continue due to health or physical issues, no refunds will be issued and subsequent costs will be the client’s responsibility.
If natural disasters, pandemics, or unforeseen events beyond our control affect the service, refunds will not be granted; an open ticket may be offered subject to availability.
Inca Trail permits are personal, non-transferable, non-refundable, and date changes are not possible once purchased. These are regulations imposed by the Peruvian Government.
If authorities declare the Inca Trail closed due to natural disasters or unforeseen events, peru Adventure Trek will offer an alternative trek.
Student Discount: US$20.00 for individuals aged 17 or younger with a valid passport copy at booking.
Prices are set per person and are based on double occupancy in hotels, campsites, or tents. Solo travelers may be paired with another person of the same gender unless a private room or tent is requested with an extra charge.
The remaining balance must be paid 48 hours before the tour begins. Card transactions have a 5% fee and PayPal has an 8% fee.
Group tours may vary in pace and timing depending on individual abilities. We may adjust itineraries when necessary.
If a participant becomes ill or injured, our staff will assist them to reach emergency support, but helicopter evacuation and medical treatment costs are the hiker’s responsibility.
We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes, accidents, health issues, or loss of personal items.
Travelers must ensure their passports are valid for at least 6 months after the travel date and have the necessary visas.
Tours are conducted primarily in English and Spanish, with groups of up to 12 participants.
We offer twin rooms, double rooms, hotel upgrades, and single supplements subject to availability and advance notice.
By booking, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of adventure travel and authorize peru Adventure Trek to use images or videos captured during the trip for promotional purposes unless you notify us in advance.
Our financial liability is limited to the amount paid for the tour, and Peruvian law governs all interactions and disputes.
All travelers must disclose medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or specific health concerns at the time of booking.
Participants must be in suitable physical condition. Travelers over 70 or with medical conditions must provide a medical certificate signed by a licensed healthcare professional.
peru Adventure Trek reserves the right to deny participation if a traveler’s condition is unsuitable or not properly disclosed.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover medical emergencies, cancellations, and other unexpected events.
